A mommy makeover is a nickname for a combination of cosmetic procedures that focus on the areas commonly affected by pregnancy and childbirth.

What Procedures are Included?

There is no single defined combination of procedures that come with a mommy makeover. It can include any number of procedures, and these also very by surgeon. While there are a great many surgeries that can be considered part of a mommy makeover, here are the most commonly requested:

• Breast Augmentation - Enlarge, reduce, or re-shape the breasts.
• Breast Lift - Correct any sagging that resulted from pregnancy/lactation.
• Tummy Tuck - Lift and shape the abdomen area.
• Liposuction - Remove excess fat in the stomach, waist, thighs, or arms.
• Arm or Thigh Lift - Lift and tighten the skin on arms and legs.

Why Get a Mommy Makeover?

Every woman's specific reasons are different, but generally speaking it is for the purpose of getting back to their pre-pregnancy body. After having a baby, many women are not happy with one or more of these:

• Shape or size of breasts, or otherwise not happy with the appearance of their breasts.
• Sagging stomach, often including stretch marks.
• Excess fat on abdomen, waist, thighs, or arms.
